Windows Now Available Throughout the Rocky Mountains

CHICAGO, IL (September 5, 2006)   Thermique Technologies, LLC has partnered with Colorado Warm Windows, LLC to bring Thermique" WarmVue windows to architectural markets throughout the Rocky Mountain region of the United States and Canada. Thermique" technology is a recent scientific breakthrough that transforms ordinary windows into a source of radiant heating in cold climates.

Thermique" heated windows are designed to improve the comfort, value and energy-efficiency of a luxury home, office building, restaurant or hotel. The entire glass surface is uniformly heated to radiate warmth into the room. The glass temperature is easily adjustable with a wall-mounted control module, or the heated window system can be integrated into the buildings existing thermostat controls.

We are very excited about the potential of this new technology, said Graham Frontella, vice president of operations at Colorado Warm Windows. This is an entirely new concept in architecture and heating, and the positive response from the architects and builders we've talked to has been overwhelming.

Windows are typically the number one source of heat loss in a building. When the temperature drops outside, ordinary glass will get cold and chill the air indoors. This can make a building drafty, uncomfortable, and expensive to heat. Thermique™ WarmVue windows help eliminate these problems by warming the glass and creating a stable indoor temperature.

Thermique Technologies is the first and only company to earn ULŪ approval to provide heated glass technology for architectural windows in United States. Thermique" WarmVue windows are currently on track to be UL approved for sale in Canada by the end of 2006.

With Thermique" WarmVue windows, the building's HVAC system will not need to operate as long or as often to keep the indoor environment comfortably warm. This can reduce monthly energy bills in addition to making the building a quieter, more comfortable space. Plus, Thermique" WarmVue windows will never frost up or fog over, and Thermique" heated glass technology can be used control ice buildup on vertical windows, skylights, and awnings.

Colorado Warm Windows will serve as the exclusive regional distributor of Thermique™ heated windows. With decades of construction and design expertise, the company specializes in proving high-tech window technology to architects and builders from New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming as well as western Canada and Alaska.
